NZ Certificate in Cookery (Level 4)


Tuition Fee: Approximately NZD 22,000

Duration: 35 weeks (includes 5 weeks of internship)


Entry Requirements:

English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or completion of NZ Certificate in English Language Level 3 (Applied)

Academic Qualifications: High school diploma or vocational high school diploma, or higher


Program Overview:

This program equips students with practical cooking skills and knowledge of culinary arts. Through classroom learning and hands-on kitchen experience, students develop competencies required for a career as a chef.


Career Opportunities and Outcomes:

Post-Graduation Work Visa: NOT eligible for a New Zealand Post-Study Open Work Visa upon graduation.

Employment Pathway: Secure employment as a chef in New Zealand to apply for an Accredited Employer Work Visa.

Career Growth: Opportunities in restaurants, hotels, and catering businesses.
